The sexuality of Christ in Renaissance art and in modern oblivion in your reading list.] I am showing this image in order to dispel the common, erroneous belief that Christianity forbids literal depictions of God or the Virgin Mary engaged in intercourse, or of the Virgin Mary fucking her son or, for that matter, of the Virgin Mary (who is the Bride of Christ) fucking Christ her son, who happens also to be God so that in the process of fucking her spouse and her son as well as her spouse and her son she is also fucking God her father, since she is, to quote the hallowed expression, la Figlia del suo Figlio, “the daughter of her own son” (long story here) while in turn her son Jesus, being at once God, the son of God and the son of Mary (according to the Nicene Creed) is at once the Father fucking his daughter, the son fucking his mother and the original unwed partner engaging in consensual non-coital sex and voyeurism through an angel intermediary.
